Haleh Ghodsimaab

With over 15 years of experience internationally and in Canada, Haleh is a highly skilled Project Architect and Project Manager. Her expertise includes the design and detailing of technically complex athletic and recreational environments, and she excels at guiding projects through construction while maintaining their design vision.

Detail-oriented and keen to meet challenges, Haleh is valued by clients, contractors, and colleagues for her ability to efficiently shepherd projects across all their phases. Haleh’s extensive portfolio at MJMA demonstrates her outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, as well as her experience coordinating full multidisciplinary teams across community engagement, interiors, environmental graphic design, and landscape. A clear thinker with a natural sense of collegiality, Haleh is a supportive mentor, leading teams to achieve results that are on time and on budget. She is also a life-long athlete who is drawn to designing spaces that promote wellness in all its forms.

Haleh completed her Master of Architecture at Azad University in Tehran. Before coming to our studio in 2013, she worked in Dubai and Tehran on residential, commercial, cultural, educational, mixed-use, and interior design projects at a range of scales. While developing her expertise in building science as an architect she was also an exhibited painter, which she sees as shaping her ability to apply technical skill in arriving at creative solutions.
