A sustainable future depends on these relationships, because we care for that to which we belong, and what is cared for endures.

MJMA’s first project was a community centre in a public park. Its design principles continue to guide us today: elegant structural solutions; beautiful, durable materials; abundant natural light; multi-functional spaces; and high-performing, efficient building systems. The better we build, the less we consume, the more we leave for the future.

Extensive in-house research and development inform our projects and allow us to respond to challenges with evidence-based strategies. From inclusive design to regenerative landscapes, from low-carbon solutions to net-positive projects, we are committed to continually building studio knowledge, so that our designs can meet the critical issues our communities face.
