Sandra is dedicated to creating landscape architecture that responsibly brings together natural and human-made environments. An active member of MJMA’s Sustainability Committee, she is developing the office’s best practices for regenerative landscape design — solutions that reduce water demand, manage stormwater, enhance biodiversity, provide pollinator and wildlife habitats, foster environmental stewardship, and provide recreational opportunities. Sandra has a special interest in wetlands, including their potential as amenities, and has presented and published papers focusing on complex watershed-scale issues. She is a graduate of the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Toronto Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design and a Sustainable SITES Initiative Accredited Professional.
