Johnathan believes creativity and design excellence are founded on collegial processes that allow for open and clear communication between stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and designers. Johnathan takes pride in producing well-crafted buildings that respond sensitively to the wellness and social ambitions of communities. He has a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master of Architecture from McGill University. He joined MJMA in 2021, after working at studios in Toronto, including a design collective he co-founded that included close collaboration with fabricators, which satisfied his love for developing technical expertise. Johnathan has also volunteered with the Black Architects and Interior Designers Association Canada (BAIDA), acting as a mentor.
