Brad Vokey

Associate, Contract Administrator | Lic Tech OAA LEED GA

An integral member of MJMA’s Contract Administration team, Brad applies his deep knowledge, skill, and professionalism to tender processes, construction documentation, and contract management. Among Brad’s favourite projects is the Orillia Recreation Centre, where he collaborated closely with the mason to realize the building’s distinctive and award-winning brickwork. He has also led contract administration on some of the studio’s most complex undertakings. This includes the Ethennonnhawahstihnen’ Community Centre, a 219,000sf facility that negotiates and provides infrastructure on a tight urban site while bringing together an aquatic facility, gymnasium, public library, childcare, and other program and social spaces. Another notable project for which Brad completed CA is the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, a project that integrates architecture, landscape, and experiential graphic design to fulfill the community’s desire for a facility that reflects the special character of its ruggedly beautiful setting. A competitive hockey player in his youth who continues to play and coach, Brad is naturally drawn to MJMA’s recreational and athletic projects and the dedication to excellence in community-based design.

Brad joined MJMA in 2017, after 12 years experience as a Technologist, Project Manager, and Contract Administrator at a number of Toronto firms. He has an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology from Toronto’s George Brown College, a Certificate in Architectural Preservation and Conservation from Ryerson University, and is a LEED Green Associate.
