Riverview Recreation Complex

The 60,000 sf Riverview Recreation Complex will be a new focus for social and healthy opportunities for the community of Riverview, New Brunswick. Situated in Mill Creek Nature Park, a 330-acre municipal greenspace popular for its picturesque landscapes and outdoor activities, the complex adds new amenities, with a design that prioritizes connections to its surrounding natural setting.
Among the facility’s many sustainability measures is a building section designed to take advantage of the sloping site for natural ventilation and energy efficiency: it allows for a larger volume in the field house, where the height is required, and a lower, smaller volume in the aquatics hall.
