"Great spaces cultivate community, and help people find their voice, tell their story, and reach their full potential—that’s what motivates me."

Sean joined MJMA in 2015, after obtaining a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture, both at Carleton University in Ottawa; this was followed by time at Paul Raff Studio and Diamond Schmitt Architects in Toronto, where he gained professional experience designing award-winning affordable housing projects, multi-unit and single-family residences and renovations, as well as transit, healthcare, and campus projects. This diversity of experience shapes Sean’s contributions to the architectural design, environmental graphics and sustainability efforts of MJMA’s community and institutional projects. In his remaining time, Sean is a sprint canoe competitor with the Balmy Beach Canoe Club and a stand-up paddle surfing race competitor with the Toronto Windsurf Club. He is also a past board member of the Canadian Architectural Certification Board.
