"MJMA’s work, both past and present, reveals a deep understanding of equality of space, and represents true community-based architecture."

Ryan joined MJMA in 2015, following the completion of a Bachelor of History and Theory of Architecture from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University. In addition to his extensive education, Ryan draws on years of professional experience gained at Diamond Schmitt Architects and Montgomery Sisam Architects in Toronto and Atelier PRO Architekten in the Hague, Netherlands, where he worked on a range of typologies, from performing arts and community recreation centres to corporate and residential projects. Outside of office hours, Ryan volunteers his time to architecture and design crits, community outreach, and student mentorship.
