"I love the playful dialogue between art and science, intuition and precision that is at the heart of architecture."
Before becoming a member of MJMA’s architectural design team in 2013, Ricardo acquired professional experience during his years working at a range of international firms—including ANA Architecten in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Umdoisoumais Arquitectos in Porto, Portgual; and Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, ARUP Associates, and Grimshaw Architects, all in London, UK. This followed the successful attainment of a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minho, Portugal, and a Master of Architecture from Porto University. At MJMA, Ricardo contributes his critical thinking, problem solving, and technical skills to every phase of a project’s development, from schematic design to construction document production, and on through contract administration and close-out.
