"Architecture and design represent a chance to pit the limits of your imagination against the realities of the world we live in."
Since 2017, Matt has applied his diverse professional background—beginning with an education comprising a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, followed by a Bachelor of Architectural Science and Master of Architecture, both from the University of Waterloo—to MJMA’s digital practice. An early interest in digital design and fabrication let to a period spent designing retail and restaurant interiors at Giannone Petricone Associates, and institutional, multi-unit and private residential projects at Teeple Architects, both of Toronto. Matt now focuses on building information modelling for both interior and architectural design projects—a concentration that has earned him the Michael Eisner Digital Space Award and medals from the Royal Canadian Institute of Architects.
