Maryam Mohajer
Senior Architect

"I’m motivated to create spaces that engage with people’s live, and to improve the quality of environments they use to live, work, and play."

Maryam joined MJMA’s architectural design team in 2015 equipped with a Master of Architecture from the University of Tehran, as well as years of professional experience in Iran—including time at Tehran’s Housing Investment Company—and in Canada, at Toronto’s Teeple Architects, architectsAlliance, and Turner Fleischer Architects, where she focused on luxury residential projects and condominiums, institutional buildings, and recreation and community centres throughout Ontario and Alberta. Her work at MJMA now focuses on design development and working drawings, and the preparation of these projects for tender, particularly in the areas of building envelopes and detail design. Her remaining professional time is dedicated to volunteer work with Hami Canada, a not-for-profit that builds schools in underserved areas of Iran.
