Janouque LeRiche

"It’s my passion to contribute to the development of healthy, vibrant communities that are inclusive, accessible, and built for the future."

Since 2011, Janouque has contributed to the sustainability and accessibility efforts of MJMA’s architectural design team with a focus on aquatic facilities and envelope design. She was a contributor to MJMA’s PAN AM Games Athlete’s village & Cherry Street YMCA, further developing YMCA Standards for several other GTA YMCA projects.

She has a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture, both from Ottawa’s Carleton University. This follows wide-range of architectural experience at Core Architects and Diamond Schmitt Architects, both of Toronto. Her work at DSAI also involved award-winning post-secondary institutional projects with innovations in sustainability, including student centres and libraries, theatres, and academic buildings.

Janouque also volunteers with the anti-bullying program Roots of Empathy.
