Following the completion of a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture, both from the University of Waterloo, Aaron went on to gain professional experience at local and international firms including KPMB Architects and Superk├╝l in Toronto, Sanaksenaho Arkkitehdit Oy in Helsinki, Finland, and Chassay + Last Architects in London, UK. Since joining the architectural design team at MJMA in 2009, Aaron has become a core member of the design team, lending his expertise to all facets of architectural production. Excelling in detail-oriented designs that carefully craft both design and technical innovation, Aaron was a key contributor to two of MJMA’s most prominent projects to date—the Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre & Edmonton Eskimos’ Field House, and the University of Toronto Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport—which typify his focus on singular projects, and demonstrate his leadership rooted in a deep knowledge and keen understanding of the challenges presented by inventive architectural endeavours.
